I’m Fuad Safaraliyev. Electrical & Computer Engineering is the thread through my studies, research and work. The rest of the story reaches across places, ideas and life away from a screen.
01 / A journey across places
One path.
Different horizons.
My path starts in Azerbaijan. University took me to China for my first two years, then to Urbana–Champaign for my third year. I’m a student of both the ZJU–UIUC Institute and the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign through the dual-degree programme.
That is one continuing education across two institutions. The setting changes; engineering remains the connection.

02 / What I build and explore
Between the question
and the thing that works.
My work moves between engineering, research, security and products. Sometimes the starting point is a scientific question; sometimes it is a system to understand, or something that needs to be built. I want this site to show the questions and the work behind each project.
The research and experience worlds hold the detail. Here, they sit together as parts of the same ongoing education: learning how systems behave, testing assumptions, and making something useful from what I learn.
